New Photo Web Page Added

Hello and Happy Spring to all! I just wanted to let you know I added a new web page where guests can submit their own ghostly photos to share with our ghost hunting community. So if you have any cool pictures of orbs or shadows or faces in windows, I'd love to see them. Email them to Ghostchicks@hotmail.com. You'll get full credit for the submission. Tell your friends! In the meantime, check out the "Guest Photo Sbmissions" page and read about Robert Baker and how he came about capturing some great orb shots in Washington DC at the Policeman's Memorial Wall..

On another note, the TAPSCON 2009 convention has been cancelled for this summer in Tampa, Florida. Actually it was postponed to a later date next year, which still has yet to be determined. That's unfortunate. I was really looking forward to going there with my daughter, Jaclyn and do some serious ghost hunting and schmoozing with the TAPS guys. Here I was, tickets and reservations in hand, and they cancelled it due to some very serious circumstances. You can read about it on their website. Google TAPSCON 2009 to get all the dirty details. Needless to say, I'm still going to Florida to visit my family and Jaclyn and I will just have to find some other "haunts" to investigate. I'll keep you posted on our findings.

Until next time! Happy Hunting!

Fort Mifflin Ghosts

Hey everyone! Well, Jaclyn and I just got back from sleeping overnight at Fort Mifflin in Pennsylvania. This was such a cool place! Other ghost hunters were there and everyone was very polite and respectful of each other's investigations. We had a blast and met some really cool people. Wayne, our tour guide and groundskeeper, was sweet and very informative. He told us about Elizabeth Pratt and her untimely suicide at the fort, and showed us where prisoners of the civil war were kept and/or died in the underground casemates. Believe me, this is a place where no one wants to be. Lon, the night guard, was also very knowledgeable. At around 12 midnight he walked Jaclyn and myself over to the upper ammunition bunkers. These old bunkers are outside of the walls of the fort, so we had to walk through the woods to get to them. Very creepy, especially when you're being led around in the woods at midnight by a guy you've only known for 10 minutes with only a flashlight and a camera to protect yourself. But we survived, and had a great time investigating the bunkers. There were actually names written on the walls dating back to the 1800's. But it was in the casemates inside the fort where things got really spooky. We were able to get some nice pictures of orbs and a couple of EVP's. A special page on Fort Mifflin will be posted on the website very soon. If you have any questions about it, let me know. Until next time... happy hunting!

Hello again fellow ghost enthusiasts! I'm happy to report our Ghost Hunting Kits page is up and running again. Be sure to check it out for some of the newest equipment for all your ghost hunting needs. We recently went to the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Burlington, NJ and were lucky to catch a cool EVP. This is a beautifully kept and very large cemetery with graves dating back to the 1700's. It's interesting to think that buried here are some of the first settlers to this part of the state. If you ever find yourself in this neck of the woods of New Jersey, be sure to check out Odd Fellows. Cool name, cool graves. And it also has a beautiful mausoleum where family and friends have left little momentos, flowers and poems for their dearly departed. I'll work on getting the EVP onto the website very soon. Until then, have a great day and Happy Hunting!  ~~ Kathleen

Hello everyone! Welcome to our new blog page. I thought adding this to our website would be a good idea to help share thoughts and ideas about ghost hunting. So please feel free to post your comments, suggestions or questions.  I don't know if you've noticed, but our Ghost Hunting Kits page is down for reconstruction, and I do appologize for the inconvenience. I'm having a little trouble with the html codes and the one person who can help me is away until April 18th. So please bear with me until then. I'd also like to thank everyone who's emailed me in the past inquiring about ghost hunting or telling me about a really cool cemetery we should investigate. It's great to know so many people share the same inquisitive nature about the paranormal as we do. I look forward to hearing from all of you!    -----   Kathleen
